The Bean Story

Finca Palmichal is high on the western side of the Central Andes Mountain range, near the municipality of Genova. Producer Atilano Giraldo grew up working in coffee alongside his father and is the third generation of his family to grow coffee in Quindio. Gradually, he acquired additional properties, including Finca Palmichal, which is 53 hectares in size and has approximately 350k coffee trees.

Tasting Notes:  Grapefruit, Tangerine, Caramel, Toffee

An superbly balanced single origin coffee both silky and sweet.  Lighter roasts exhibit notes of grapefruit and tangerine.  Darker roast pull out notes of molasses, chocolate, and toasted almond.  The coffee is delicious brewed coffee everyday coffee.

Roasting & Shipping:  We roast and ship daily Monday through Friday.  Orders are typically shipped within 24-48 hours.  If you are a subscription client then your order will automatically be roasted and shipped per the frequency you select (Weekly, Bi-Weekly, or every 4 weeks).  Feel free to check out our Subscription and Shipping Policy if you have any questions.
