Grown in the Lintong region of North Sumatra Province, this coffee benefits from rich volcanic soil and lush plateaus to give these beans their world class flavor. Smallholder farmers from the towns of Siborongborong, Dolok Sanggul and Lintong Nihuta produce some of the best high-end specialty Arabica coffee beans in the world.
Our Sumatran roast exhibits some classic elements of this region with a thick body, mellow acidity, and deep sweetness. It also has noticeable clarity and balance. Lighter roasts were very clean and sweet, with notes of fruit leather, brown sugar, vanilla, nougat and had a slight earthiness. Deeper notes of molasses, dark chocolate, and deeper earthiness along with a heavy body and mellow acidity a present our dark roast. This coffee makes an amazing first morning cup to start your day!
