The Bean Story

Guatemala Manos de Mujer comes from the ACODIHUE cooperative, founded in 1996, in the mountainous territory of Chuchumatan, Huehuetenango.  This coffee is produced entirely by women members of ACODIHUE's network referred to as Awal Nan.  This refined selection of the cooperative's coffee is highly versatile and works well across all brew methods producing a syrupy body, balanced acidity and lasting sweetness.  Light roasts produce notes of caramel, cherry, and vanilla.  Darker roasts exhibit flavors of dark chocolate, toasted marshmallow, molasses, and cacao nib.
